Justin Guarini was on my drawing board (2/18/06). As you can see I decided to draw another double portrait. This one took 60 hours to finish, the hair was a little difficult, basically what I do is draw the shapes I see rather then drawing hair. The size is 11 x 14 inch on vellum Bristol, I used 3b, H, and a 2b mech pencil, blending sticks, plain tissue and a kneaded eraser. The main reference photo is by Shane James and the smaller reference photo is by Kathy Guarini.

Johnny Depp was on my drawing board the first week in December 2005. I put 60 hrs into this double portrait and feel it's one of my most realistic works. It's 11 x 14 inches on Vellum Bristol, I find this paper to be best for portraits due to the slight texture to it, I used graphite 2b, h, b, 3b, Tissue, and blending sticks. This one was drawn for fun.
