An Angel was on my drawing board for a few weeks in November of 2005. I put 40 hours into this large 19 x 24 inch portrait on Vellum Bristol. I plan to draw more realistic angel art and will be looking for reference photos (if you know of any please contact me). This reference is from a stock photo on DeviantArt. I love angels very much and enjoyed drawing this one.

A young Arabian horse is what I worked on, I started 10-13-05 and put about 50 hours into it, I just now finished (11-29-05) after putting it to the side for weeks. As with most all of my work I start out with a one inch grid to get an outline, then I work a small section at a time, usually working left to right but I started this one on the right side. 2b mech pencil, B, 3b, blending stick, plain tissue and kneaded eraser on 11 x 14 inch Vellum Bristol. The reference photo is by S. A. Bates Photography.
