Marilyn Monroe was on my drawing board 9-13-05 through 10-7-05. This one was done for fun, I'm a big fan of MM and have drawn a few of her over the years. Size is 19 x 24 inches, Vellum Bristol, I used 2b mech, black ebony pencils, tissue and blending sticks. The reference photo is by Laszlo Willinger and owned by Edward Weston . This portrait is for sale, please contact me for details. Progress images: I started work on this commission 8-7-05, the size is 19 x 24 inches, graphite pencils 3b, H and mech 2b on Vellum Bristol. I worked on this 7 person portrait for over a month, here is the finished piece 9-10-05: Client's comment: "Dear Linda, The portrait arrived today, even with seeing your progression images it's overwhelming. This by far exceeds anything I could have imagineed.
