My time is here
my life is here
my heart is here and everywhere
our time together is timeless
our life together is alive
our hearts beat as one
our minds have come together.
Time may not control me
life is always ever changing
change will be in time
I will have time on my side
time to grow
time to understand
time to plan, time will not control me!
Here i sit
in the room where time has stood still
here i sit
to reflect on days past
and to dream
of days to come.
"Gray"
I have often described the world as gray
well thats because it is at times
it seems that most of the colors of the world
have been lost to many eyes
i even dress in black and white
i fit perfectly into this world, comfortably
i can see and be seen very clearly.
"Loneliness"
Loneliness surrounds us all
beckoning to us
drawing so ever closer.
The walls
the dark walls built up over many years
the walls of loneliness
appear to be clearer these days, a little brighter.
The closer you get
the more I can see and be seen.
I found comfort behind these walls for so long
and yet if you take my hand
and pull me close
I will step away from these walls
I will step away smiling.
